DKSH partners with the Executive School of the University of St. Gallen to set up its new 'Fantree Academy'

DKSH has decided to found its own in-house Fantree Academy to provide customized management and talent development training for DKSH personnel. DKSH is the No. 1 market expansion services group with focus on Asia, with 22'000 employees and operations in 35 countries. It enables and supports companies in expanding their businesses in existing markets and launching into new ones. DKSH offers any combination of sourcing, marketing, sales, distribution and after-sales services.

The University of St. Gallen was selected as the partner of choice based on its excellent reputation in the field of strategy and business administration as well as its successful track record in delivering customized programs to the corporate world.

"The Senior Management Program which we are running in Singapore together with the University of St. Gallen provides invaluable support in implementing our strategy for growth. The program is ideally tailored to our specific needs, is pragmatic and hands-on in its approach, yet invariably challenging and inspiring." This says Joerg W. Wolle, President & CEO of DKSH Group - here is the link to his recent book: DKSH literature

In future, The Fantree Academy will offer new programs designed to achieve optimal training outcomes and cost effectiveness. The intended program architecture comprises two one-week program types, one for senior management and another for young talents, plus a Certified Fantree Diploma for middle management. The programs are truly international in their choice of locations, partners and the faculty; they will be held in Asia and Switzerland.

The first event of the Fantree Academy was a Senior Management Program for the 50 top executives of DKSH Group, held in Singapore in September 2009. The week was designed as a learning and dialog platform centered around the topic of introducing the new DKSH strategy for growth, its implementation and its leadership challenges. Faculty from the University of St. Gallen together with a guest lecturer from the Singapore Management University facilitated lively and interesting discussions, moderated workshops and provided selective input on various topics relating to strategy implementation and leadership challenges.
