PwC Partner Development Program:


Initial Situation:

  • A global professional services (audit, tax & advisory) firm with independent country organizations.

  • Around 400 partners in Germany

  • The German firm wants to differentiate itself from the competition through its unique approach to client and employee relationships.

  • A change management program has been introduced to achieve the required change of mindset and organizational capabilities.


Objectives:

  • Support the cultural change through executive education

  • Strengthen the "leading by example" culture within partners

  • Support partners in their leadership challenges

  • Provide essential opportunities to participate in and communicate the change process

  • Strengthen the future viability of partners


Participants:

Generally all partners of PwC. There are courses for younger and for more experienced partners. The program was initially launched in Germany, today partners from all over Europe are participating.

Concept:

  • Structured program over 3-4 years which addresses partners

  • Embedded in a whole partner development program

  • Three different 3-day courses provided by the University of St.Gallen are embedded. They support the partners in dealing with the tensions of client-firm-team-self
