St.Gallen Executive Education Report (SEER) 2016
Background of the St.Gallen Executive Education Report 2016
Nine out of ten companies report that executive learning and development (L&D) is among the primary drivers of long-term organisational success. However, only two out of ten respondents are satisfied with the state of executive L&D in their own organisation. With the second edition of the St. Gallen Executive Education Report (SEER), the Executive School is investigating this distinct mismatch. The report explores executive L&D structures, processes and practices that distinguish successful organisations from less successful ones. The report will be published in spring 2016.
Focus of the Second Edition
The St.Gallen Executive Education Report 2016 focuses on the most pressing strategic and operational executive L&D challenges and identifies effective solutions. For example, one analysis explores how executive L&D decision-making processes should be designed - particularly at the interface between the top management team and the HR function - in order to strengthen executive L&D outcomes. Another analysis that focuses more on the operational side of executive L&D explains how firm can take advantage of the digitalisation of learning and innovative technologies in order to increase the effectiveness of their executive L&D.
The report targets top managers and executives as well as L&D directors and HR deciders who would like to know more about success factors that drive the effectiveness of executive learning and leadership development.
