The World Economic Forum (WEF) has published the Global Competitiveness Report 2018. Switzerland ranks 4th in the Global Competitiveness Index 4.0 of the most competitive countries in the world, behind the USA, Singapore and Germany. The Executive School of the University of St.Gallen (ES-HSG), as the official partner institute of the WEF, once again conducted this year's survey at business leaders in Swiss companies. In addition to publicly available data, this survey is considered to be the most important component of the World Economic Forum's Global Competitiveness Report. The report serves as a representative measure of the international competitiveness of all countries of the world and is updated annually.
