Friederike Rieder graduated from the St.Gallen MBA in August 2010 and obtained her university degree from RWTH Aachen University (M.A.) in communication science (major), political science and international technical and economic cooperation. She focused on corporate communications, usability testing as well as text linguistics in her graduate studies. She completed her university studies in 2006 with her final thesis on "Age and Technology".
Friederike Rieder is responsible for marketing at the Executive School of Management, Technology and Law of the University of St.Gallen (ES-HSG). Before, she was a programme manager for custom programmes at the Executive School and was deeply involved in the conception of the programmes. From April 2006 until October 2007, she worked at the RWTH International Academy as event manager and was responsible for the conception, marketing and organization of open enrollment executive education programmes. Friederike Rieder gained international experience during a one year exchange as a high school student in the USA and a semester abroad at the University of Berne. During her university studies, she completed a six months internship at Siemens Medical Solutions where she worked in the field of Knowledge Management and was responsible for marketing matters and customer support.
