Programme Benefits

In cooperation with the Executive School of the University of St.Gallen, one of the leading business schools in Europe, REM-HSG offers you major benefits.

(1) The REM-HSG programme draws on live case studies and on-site visits to derive insights and best practices from successful companies and projects in the field of renewable energies. You will be given intensive training and individual coaching that will enable you to identify and exploit the outstanding growth opportunities in the field of renewable energies.

(2) All participants will have access to the exclusive executive Alumni network. This Alumni group facilitates exchange among executives who are working on renewable energies from different perspectives. After graduating from the diploma programme, regular Alumni events and the St. Gallen Forum for Management of Renewable Energies enable further networking and education.

Application Criteria

In principle, a first academic university degree is required for admission to REM-HSG. Applicants should have at least three years of professional experience.

Course Structure

REM-HSG provides much more than facts and knowledge; it involves real learning that is applicable in the real world to support the successful management of renewable energies.

The curriculum of REM-HSG is organised around three modules, each of which lasts for one week. Students complete one module every two months. This enables participants to attend the programme alongside doing their jobs.

Content & Faculty

Faculty engaged in REM-HSG are thought leaders in their fields of expertise. Our academic faculty is selected from the University of St.Gallen and other leading universities. All professors have a strong track record in research as well as in executive education. High-level executives complement the faculty and provide rich insight into real life business. Prof. Dr. Rolf Wüstenhagen, Good Energies Chair for Management of Renewable Energies at the University of St.Gallen, is the academic director of REM-HSG.
